Kyyle23
Apparently the last time the Tigers swept a 4 game series from the Sox was in 1980. Yay

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
We've all heard in the past that Peavy is not a big game pitcher. This is no doubt a big game. Not only can he prove he is a stopper but can pitch with the pressure on. This is a big start for the future of the franchise. Jake
I think Peavy loves pitching in front of all these scouts. It's like a tryout

Me too. I think Rick feels the same way and is going to need somebody to make it worth his while to move Peavy.

Just leave him on a pitch count, no more than 105. If he leaves after 6 at only 80 pitches, scouts wouldn't like that.
Dick Allen
QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jul 25, 2013 -> 01:38 PM) If Peavy pitches well get him out after 5 or 6 innings max. The way this season is going, he'll probably have a 2 hitter with 2 outs in the 6th, someone will hit a weak chopper to first and Peavy will sprain his ankle covering first. Although, if they are intending to compete next year, I'd rather they keep him. It does seem like they are going to trade him so maximize that value.
