You could argue that Jake is outpitching Verlander so far. With six hits and a walk where is our clutch hitting?

It's hanging out in May 2012

For a minute I thought you meant our poster, Jake...:)

I think it's pretty clear Mr. Peavy has outpitched Verlander thus far.

Who's to say he wasn't? I'm in rehab right now, too bad my NCAA eligibility is gone or I'd be giving Verlander a run for his money!

Where it has been all year. Non existiant

Actually I checked this today, the Sox are in the middle of the pack in the AL for hitting with RISP, hitting .258 and 9th in the league. The problem is we've had the fewest at bats with RISP in the AL. Fewer than Houston.

If Jake goes in a trade we better do better then some AA OF prospect. How many touted OF prospects do we have? Boston's Will Middlebrook sounded interesting for 3B

Middlebrooks sounds terrible as a major return for Peavy.

That is why we signed some of the players we did this past off season too. We were going to get guys on in front of the big bopper, Trouble is they didn't get on and the big boppers didn't bop

Tigers announcers talking about how Verlander had no business throwing a slider to Flowers because he couldn't catch up to his fastball.

To be fair, gameday has the slider coming in at 92 mph.
