ShandyMan
I didn't realize that Snodgress isn't having all that bad of a year.
GGajewski18
QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 27, 2013 -> 05:07 PM) http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?c...mp;ymd=20130727 Birmingham facing Archie Bradley tonight. I'll be interested on how the "big" prospects perform against him. Semein, Thompson, Jacobs, Walker.
Balta1701
QUOTE (staxx @ Jul 27, 2013 -> 06:21 PM) I didn't realize that Snodgress isn't having all that bad of a year. A couple weeks ago his numbers were fairly mediocre, then he just caught fire.
ShandyMan
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 27, 2013 -> 05:32 PM) A couple weeks ago his numbers were fairly mediocre, then he just caught fire. Hopefully he can keep it up. Would be nice to have another LHP in the wings.
Balta1701
QUOTE (staxx @ Jul 27, 2013 -> 06:48 PM) Hopefully he can keep it up. Would be nice to have another LHP in the wings. He definitely has promise, good velocity, over 90 fastball, maintains it for the game, decent offspeed stuff. When I saw him he lost his arm slot when people got on base and he started pitching from the stretch, but that's something he can learn. Making the jump to AA is supposed to be the biggest jump people make, so it shoudln't surprise us when people need some time after that. thxfrthmmrs
Carolina Top of the 2nd Jordan Smith grounds out, second baseman Joey DeMichele to first baseman Rangel Ravelo. Bo Greenwell grounds out, second baseman Joey DeMichele to first baseman Rangel Ravelo. Erik Gonzalez grounds out, second baseman Joey DeMichele to first baseman Rangel Ravelo. It's safe to say Chris Beck has the hitters where he want them.

flavum
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jul 27, 2013 -> 07:00 PM) Beyond dumb. The one guy that actually hits in that line up. The Ishikawa signing is real curious. Makes me wonder if Konerko is being under the radar about an early exit. Probably not, but you never know. Jake
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 27, 2013 -> 08:15 PM) Phegley is hitting somewhere in the low .200s now. That shouldn't have surprised anybody. Sample size is small though, he's a 2-for-3 performance away from having nice looking numbers. IMHO, Semien was and is a better prospect though.
