caulfield12
Shades of Miguel Ascencio with the Royals in his rookie year against us. More bad White Sox defense, lol. Seems like Andre was spiked and wasn't aware of the sitaution as he got back to his feet and/or Dunn wasn't communicating with him about making the throw home. Bourn stepped directly on his right ankle, pretty much, crossing the bag to beat the relay throw. Chisenhall never stopped running the whole time. Only the White Sox of 2013 could so consistently give up 3 runs with only one hit in the inning against their pitcher. caulfield12
Another runner advancing to 2nd base that shouldn't have been there due to Viciedo. Jesus, he needs to be either a 1B/DH or traded to another organization. That's two bad plays in consecutive games when he was called out for the exact same thing by Ventura in the game story last night. Just no excuse for that. He might love to show off his arm in left, but he's so often been irresponsible with his lack of fundamental defensive play (not that we haven't seen it from Rios and DeAza, either, it's endemic). caulfield12
QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 30, 2013 -> 06:36 PM) They were calling for it to third to prevent the run scoring. What the hell are you talking about? The trail runner on the previous hit should have been held at 1st. Viciedo tried to get the runner at 3rd and once again missed the cutoff man with his throw. How would foolishly trying to cut down the runner there and allowing the trail runner to come into 2nd unimpeded prevent the run scoring, pray tell?
