Ronald Homer of Conyers, Ga. plunged onto a parking lot during a game between the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies at 8:55 p.m. ET., Atlanta Police spokesman John Chafee told NBC News. Mother Connie Homer told The Associated Press that she spoke to Ronald during the game when he informed her that the rain was starting to let up and he was preparing to go back to the stadium. Homer was taken to Atlanta Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
