If Vonleh goes pro (which he should) does Crean last past next year for Indiana? There is a good chance they don't make the tourney if Vonleh goes pro because that frontcourt will be a train wreck.

That $7 million extra on his buyout if they remove him after 2015 instead of 2016 should be a big motivator.

3 fouls huh? Classic.

Almost no defensive fouls were called on either team in the first half. Only 3 free throws total and both teams are doing a dreadful job attacking the basket. There is remarkably little offensive talent in this game. Illinois doesn't have a single upperclassmen who is really that talented on offense. Rice will hopefully be better with more talent around him next year but I'm seriously concerned about his propensity for forcing terrible shots and refusal to hit the open man. And this is the way Egwu needs to play all the time, just hit the glass and play D. He will always be bad on offense but if he gives effort like this on D next year's team will be pretty damn good with Hill and Nunn becoming sophs and then having Paul, Cosby and Starks eligible.

Tate turning the ball over regularly tonight.

He is terrible and not ready for Big 10 play. He will eventually be fine as a backup once he bulks up but he has no business getting minutes right now. Unfortunately he is one of the only guys on the roster who can handle the ball and Abrams also just isn't very good. Such a bad offensive roster.

Well, Aaron Jordan scored 39 last night

Thankfully Groce is recruiting players that actually have basketball skill. Next year will tell me if he is the right guy for the job as Hill and Nunn should both make big jumps and the 3 transfers are all proven solid college players that actually have basketball skill. This team is just remarkably lacking in guys who can actually shoot, dribble and pass.
