farmteam
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 26, 2014 -> 03:35 PM) Oof, I bet Ekey's girlfriend is a little worried. That looked like it hurt.

Chisoxfn
QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 28, 2014 -> 03:35 AM) Go Team Gage! Huge game. *crossing my fingers*.
Brian
Denzel Valentine is awful. Should go to bench when Payne and Dawson are back.
caulfield12
Ugh... Iowa having the same problem as last year, closing out games. This would be the fourth "heartbreak" loss if they don't close it out, along with Villanova, Iowa State and at Wisconsin. The only team that beat them soundly was Michigan in Ann Arbor. We'll see what wins out, Iowa's depth/home court advantage/injuries to key MSU player or MSU's desperation to stay in the B10 title hunt. Jenksismyhero
Damn, 38-14 free throw advantage for Iowa.
LittleHurt05
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 28, 2014 -> 08:08 PM) Damn, 38-14 free throw advantage for Iowa. Typical Illini fan always complaining about the refs
caulfield12
If you can't beat MSU on your home floor with two of their top players out and superior depth in overtime, then you're not a legit B10 title contender. Now the big question will be to see how Iowa responds at Illinois and at home against OSU the next couple of games.
Brian
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 28, 2014 -> 08:08 PM) Damn, 38-14 free throw advantage for Iowa. Iowa should feel awful with the way they shot from the line with such a huge advantage.
IlliniKrush
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jan 28, 2014 -> 08:30 PM) If you can't beat MSU on your home floor with two of their top players out and superior depth in overtime, then you're not a legit B10 title contender. Now the big question will be to see how Iowa responds at Illinois and at home against OSU the next couple of games. That's about the furthest thing from a big question. caulfield12
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jan 28, 2014 -> 09:01 PM) That's about the furthest thing from a big question. For an Iowa fan whose BB team has gone 8 seasons without an NCAA appearance, nothing is guaranteed this year until they get to 10 Big 10 conference wins. Dick Allen
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jan 29, 2014 -> 12:11 AM) For an Iowa fan whose BB team has gone 8 seasons without an NCAA appearance, nothing is guaranteed this year until they get to 10 Big 10 conference wins. Missed free throws have killed Iowa in their losses. Except for Michigan, the other losses easily could be wins. Free throw shooting was supposed to be a strength, but a couple of guys have really gagged at the line down the stretch. Chisoxfn
They should have 1 loss. They've choked away every game but the Michigan one. Michigan flat beat them. Brutal. They have to learn from these losses.

Chisoxfn
QUOTE (gatnom @ Jan 29, 2014 -> 07:34 AM) Meant to say other then the Michigan game, they should be undefeated. E.g., they should have only had 1 loss. Should have / would have / could have doesn't mean jack s***.
bmags
Trying to decide how much to invest emotionally into this mediocre Missouri team.
whitesoxfan99
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 29, 2014 -> 10:37 AM) Meant to say other then the Michigan game, they should be undefeated. E.g., they should have only had 1 loss. Should have / would have / could have doesn't mean jack s***. That works both ways though. Xavier was in control against Iowa with less than 10 minutes left and then Semaj Christon started having cramping issues and missed the rest of the game. RockRaines
This team is so snakebit. Refs literally give penn state 7 points to tie. This shouldn't happen at home.

RockRaines
The only positive is the crazy amount of talent coming in. These two classes were good but without the one and done type of guys they just don't have it.
