Interesting, I wonder if he's on a leave for some reason. No way he got traded.

It's possible he has an injury and they just told him to stay home for the two days. That would make sense especially with expanded rosters.

They can win these. They are all but guaranteed a top 5 pick and being 2 1/2 ahead of the Cubs for the 3 spot and 4 ahead of the Twins puts them in a good position to get the #3 pick regardless.

Still, Cleveland has killed them all year. No need to think they'll stop now.

And Cleveland needs these games badly. The Sox could care less.

The fiancee is an Indians fan (certainly not a diehard). I admonished her last year for still cheering on the Indians in the last few weeks to beat us, even though they were playing for nothing and we needed the wins badly.

I guess I will be cheering on the Indians.

Just to be exact, the Sox Magic Numbers are:

Cubs - 4

Twins - 3

Mariners-1

3-3 for the Sox, with the Cubs going 1-4 gets the Sox the 3rd pick.

Even though the games are in Chicago, I will be cheering for a meteor to hit the guy who plays the drum.

They have money to burn, he can't be on the team next year. Throw your paying customer a bone and end this thing.

Agreed. Just put him on the DL and leave him there. Sox should have sent him to the same Doc that is operating on Keppinger.
