caulfield12 Posted October 4, 2013 Share Posted October 4, 2013 Puig has been struggling the last 6-8 weeks, but has two hits tonight. Also had a nice throw to nail Gattis trying to get back to 1B which helped shift early momentum. Something like .232 for his last 42 games....and around .200 the last month. That said, the only thing that counts is the playoffs and he still had a Top 30 WAR despite missing two months of the season and swinging and missing in the top (well, "worst") 3 in the majors.
