Dick Allen
QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 16, 2013 -> 07:50 PM) We've seen this Peavy before against the Tigers in a big game True. 3 walks in an inning is unacceptable, although they should have been out of it with 1 scoring, and on the other hand, they are lucky they got the call at second. LittleHurt05
QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 16, 2013 -> 07:50 PM) We've seen this Peavy before against the Tigers in a big game True that. I think I would have been annoyed had he shut them down wearing a different Sox jersey.
claydude14
Vintage Peavy against the Tigers. I was telling the gf not to be so excited about seeing him pitch again (we r cheering bosox).

The Ginger Kid
QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 08:35 AM) Pretty much vintage Peavy in the postseason. Yeah but he's a much better pitcher than Garza (cough cough)

Rowand44
I'm still pretty positive that Iglesias is not an everyday shortstop, he's an awful hitter.
WilliamTell
Actually happy Torii Hunter got a hit. First time for everything I guess.

Swingandalongonetoleft
Unbelievable how MLB hasn't yet turned to someone standing by to shorten fair/foul reviews. You don't even need them present at the park; 1-3 guys per night somewhere in MLB offices would be more than sufficient. They would still end up sitting there twiddling their thumbs for the overwhelming majority of the time.
Kyyle23
Prince Fielder just had the funniest dive back to third base when he got caught in a rundown. He hit the ground and slid NOWHERE
caulfield12
One of the strangest and dumbest baserunning plays by a player in MLB playoff history. Fielder better hope that lost run doesn't come back to haunt them or he might not want to ever go back home to DET. That contract's working worse and worse by the minute. Now Austin Jackson with another baserunning plunder, picked off 1B. Starting to ALMOST feel sorry for the Tigers' announcers. And now an infield base hit. Would have been 1st and 2nd, no outs. Shades of Tony Graffanino for the Red Sox. Now too bad plays in a row by Workman...the first one COULD have been an error as well. 2nd_city_saint787
The Defensive wizard that is Jose Iglesias just booted a ball...he's human.....and it probably just cost them 4 runs. Edited October 20, 2013 by scs787
ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (scs787 @ Oct 19, 2013 -> 11:26 PM) The Defensive wizard that is Jose Iglesias just booted a ball...he's human. I can't believe the official scorer was allowed to give an error to Iglesias. I thought he was God's gift to defensive players. AND HOLY s*** f*** YOU SHANE VICTORINO. Dick Allen
Gomes double is gone at any other park. Victorino's granny is only gone at Fenway.
greg775
Recipe for disaster, Detroit!! Too many relievers. It never works. You got to get more out of your starter(s). Leyland fell in the trap; too many relievers used tonight. Say what you want about Ozzie? Our one glorious postseason he went with the starters a LONNNNNNGGGGG time. Thank god he did or we wouldn't have a WS crown. Leyland a big goat.
