Mully and Hanley I don't catch him often but the two times I have he brings some very valid points as to how this rebuild has gained zero traction. He has no blind cubbie faith which is odd for any cubs beat writer.

He is the one pounding the fact that Ricketts has no money and the rebuild is hurting because of it.

How is it that the Cubs have "home and home" series with the Yankees this year? I don't ever recalling seeing that in interleague play, apart from the so-called geographic rivalries (CHW v. CHC; NYY v. NYM; STL v. KC). Did this start when Houston moved to the AL and they started scheduling Interleague series every day? Do other teams do this?

That was new last year. I think the Sox have one with SF.

Cubs chairman to submit revised expansion plan for Wrigley Field

The Chicago Cubs have declared an end to negotiations with the Wrigleyville Rooftop Association and are plowing ahead with their $300 million planned renovation of Wrigley Field.

The team is also now planning to go big with its plans for outfield signage, proposing to add five more outfield signs beyond the two approved by the city last year, including a second video board.

That's a huge middle finger to the rooftops
