Nice trade Dave, that wasn't an overreaction at all.

Can't wait for him to go 3-4 with a run saving catch.

Lombardozi's also doing well with the Orioles. Dombrowski's made some awful trades this past off-season.

Not to mention Iglesias.

The Fister one was really dumb, IMO.

He should have done a much better job fixing/improving that bullpen.

I heard Fuld will change his jersey name to Lew Ford when he plays against the Sox.

ehhhh .276/.288/.310/.598

He's now hitting .318.

I think I saw he was hitting .298 a few days ago and assumed he'd have an OPS near .750. I guess he's hitting nothing but singles.

This Detroit domination thing is growing old. Are they going to win our division 18 years in a row or whatever the Braves did to their division in that one streak? It's really disgusting a city like fricking Detroit has built a team good enough to win this thing year after year.

They are already six in the loss column ahead of the Sox with a very flawed team, which is not good. It's about over, in fact, where everybody will be rooting for our draft pick again.Six in the loss column is getting up there.

No. Next year it gets a whole lot tougher for them. The contracts are just piling up and they're starting to lose people because of it.

They're a step back this year still and people might have had a shot at them if there was a competitive team in the division. They're in a lucky place where their competitors are all weak. That won't last forever.

It's a rebuilding year, Greg. Interminable sky-is-falling posts really aren't necessary. Detroit ain't all that - we just faced their two aces. The Tigers have played less games than anybody, 6 less than us, and their also-not-deep pitching staff won't be helped by the total lack of off days they'll be dealing with later in the year.

The goal this year is for mgmt. to be convinced that we're close enough to go for it again heading into next year. I If we happen to be competing in July, things could change, but there won't be any mid-season overpays just to compete this year. And we're not out-of anything at 14-15. Relax, dude.

Plus their core is really starting to age in terms of age, and in terms of baseball played. Eventually, that is going to catch up to them.

Imagine if they weren't able to trade Fielder, they would be in even worse shape.
