Cerbaho-WG
Go figure, this is from the guy who takes so many deitary pills, that he is playing on the equivalent of crack cocaine. Breaks some TE's orbital bone, and the Raiders put him on IR, so he's gone for the year. Pretty stupid move(s) by the Raiders: 1) The orbital bone around the eyeball isn't a very serious injury. Usually heals around a month or so. Also, he's wearing a HELMET, udduheudh1!!@ 2) All Romo got was a fine and missed one day of practice. Someone needs to run down Romo with a truck, guy is a complete asshole.
Soxplosion
I like Romo. I like the Raiders because they have Romo. And if ya wanna call me out for liking Romo but hating Shockey, Ill tell ya why. Romo hits football players. He is a jerk but hes a jerk to guys who can be jerks back. Shockey flips off umps and throws water on little kids. Hes a jerk to people who cant be jerks back... KipWellsFan
I want to clear this up before I start hating Romo. I've heard that he is kind of a racist. Is this true at all?
MurcieOne
When he was on Denver, I'm almost positive he dropped a few N-Bombs (some to teammates)
Chisoxfn
I know many of his teamates in Denver stuck up for him, but others didn't. He's a hell of a player and on the field I love the guy. He plays balls out all game long. Still...what a jagoff. This incident was ridiculous, especially for a veteran to be involved in it. Don't use double-standards.
Spiff
Romo spit in J.J. Stoke's face a few years ago, he's done a lot of stupid s*** over the years to get fined. Something like $49,000 total. Shockey did not a flip off an ump, or a ref, he flipped off a 49ers corner who said "no f'ing cracker is gonna catch a ball on me." He chucked a cup of ice backwards when he was on the bench, and he happened to hit a couple kids. But he had them come into the locker room after the game, apologized and signed a couple balls for them, everything was settled.

And as much as I dislike Shockey at least the guy is only talking. I have yet to see him beat up an ump or anything like that. I think he did get in one scuffle with a teammate during training camp last year. I also got to say I'd love Shockey on my team as long as he doesn't go out and beat up girls, or jump his teammates or take out an ump, etc.
witesoxfan
And Shockey doesn't hit people? Which Jeremy Shockey are you watching? The Jeremy Shockey I've watched could very easily be a linebacker.
clujer420
I hope the guy he beat up presses criminal charges. If I was calling the shots in Oakland, Romanowski would be instantly gone. I wouldn't tollerate that type of behavior from ANYBODY.

Agreed...that purelly isn't tolerated. I think the statement made by leaving him on the team says it all. More reason for me to root against the F'in Raiders. Shockey wanted to wait til after the meal, but Short kept insisting. So Shockey stood up and said "Brandon, this is for you!" and started to sing until Short jumped on him. And I am pretty sure Shockey wouldn't ever lay a hand on a woman, considering how much he loves his mother, who raised him and his brother singlehandedly. Spiff
So what did you think of that show? haha it's alright. It has potential. The coach sucks, the linebacker is boring and his story is uninteresting. It's weird seeing Omar Gooding as a druggie running back (remember him from Wild and Crazy Kids? What, I'm the only one?). That whole story is interesting with him competing against the old guy. I liked it when the big fat lineman started tossing s*** all over the locker room, he's a good character. I'll prolly watch it again, but not something I'd plan my night around.

I liked it too. I heard on ESPN Radio that it sucked (On the Morning Show while driving to school). I then saw the replay and thought it was pretty good. It really was a half hour version of any given sunday, but I'll watch it again, especially if ESPN winds up playing it like 5 times during the week. Oh ya...I remember that show on Nickelodeon. Hell, he also did Smart Guy (But that was more recent). That big lineman and the RB's are definately quality characters
witesoxfan
You guys aren't the only one who remembers him from Wild and Crazy kids. Hot damn that was a great show. And I did not realize he was Cuba Gooding Jr.'s brother. Never occurred to me. But now that I think of it....they do look a like, they sound a like, and they have the same last name. I just had not put 2 and 2 together.
