Kannapolis gets worse

Their hitting will become even worse now that Pedro Lopez was moved up to Winston-Salem.

On another positive our own Jim Bullard got the start last night for Birmingham and also picked himself up a win.

I also don't want to speak to soon but Borchard is really turning it on for the last week or so.

Congrats Jim. I know the spot starts haven't always gone really well for ya, but its great to see ya pick up the win.

And your right Kip, watching Kannapolis down the stretch has to be ugly. But watching Todd Deininger pitch makes it worth it (I think Murcie will back me up on this one).

I don't know much about Tom Deinenger...

ahem

He was hitting 93 constantly when we were there. Had a really good fastball and good secondary pitches. Kid looked for real to me in the one start I saw of him.

He has good tools and I think next year people will really start hearing about him.

He's from the Chicago area, if I recall.

Deininger is prolly the most underated player in our system. he outdueled one of the Atlanta braves best prospects. some may say he walks to many batters, but i think he's got the time to work things out.
