Sorry if in the wrong section or if it's been mentioned already. I have never been to the garage sales the sox have had at the stadium or soxfest. I was wondering if anyone here has gone or goes to them, if it's worth the time, etc. Really looking to pick up an Avisail bat for my collection , thanks

Bring some big money!

One of these years I need to get up there for this again.

That's the thing, I've heard varying things. That some bats for example, like Rios last year they had a ton for $50 , also Viciedo, Alexei I think around $50 as well then that they charge like 150$ for a low end player lol Idk. I'll be happy if I can get an avi bat for 150$ or less.

Maybe things changed last year, but years ago when I went, current players were insanely expensive. Former players is where stuff got cheap. For example I picked up my game worn Bajenaru jersey for $75 the year after he went to AZ. Any current players (at the time) started at $200 and went up from there.

It might be a shot in the dark, but the Sox do have a contact page. I have no idea who is in charge of the garage sale, but if you send an email using their generic contact page, someone will probably get you any information you want. I have a perfect record of hearing back from a real person any time I have sent in a question.

Just out of curiousity, but why did you want a Jeff Bajenaru jersey?

anything reasonably priced like tshirts or bobbleheads offered?

The holiday sale is a mixed bag. Not quite the massive garage sales, but plenty of sox "junk" put up for sale. Bobbles, other giveaway items, and autos will rule the day.

The game used items typically take a back seat to these items for the holiday sale.

The garage sale is a collecters dream. Too ba d the prices aren't.
