ShandyMan
QUOTE (balfanman @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 10:32 AM) Why is Kenny on there and not Rick Hahn? probably busy talking to agents/other teams
Dick Allen
QUOTE (balfanman @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 10:32 AM) Why is Kenny on there and not Rick Hahn? Because as Geddy Lee sings, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
balfanman
QUOTE (staxx @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 11:33 AM) probably busy talking to agents/other teams I can understand this, but haven't the GM's of other teams been on there?
GreenSox
Hahn works triage and brings legit deals to the Hahn, JR, Bell, KW quartet for evaluation...as I understand it.

Dick Allen
QUOTE (balfanman @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 10:35 AM) I can understand this, but haven't the GM's of other teams been on there? The other GMs have the authority KW has. Hahn does not. I wish they would let him do his job. I agree there is no need for KW to be there. Make Hahn legit and have him do the interviews. southsider2k5
Jeff Fletcher @JeffFletcherOCR 3m I'm told there is absolutely zero chance of the Diamondbacks trading both Cahill and Skaggs to #Angels in any deal.

GreenSox
It was good natured banter. Pretty funny. Not a lot of substance in that interview, however.

Baron
QUOTE (GreenSox @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 10:49 AM) Honestly, I thought KW made that comment in jest, just part of the back and forth with Rosenthal. There was emphasis on "and you don't know anything about it." Ken didnt know....but apparently Keith Law did
royoung
QUOTE (GreenSox @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 10:53 AM) Yea, that's kind of what I've been wondering. I'd think we'd need a solid prospect in that deal as well. He put up nice numbers in the minors, but hasn't done much in the majors. I thought he was speedy guy, but apparently not many steals? southsider2k5
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 10:47 AM) Theo does the interviews. Hoyer doesn't. Hahn is in the same boat. So the Cubs hired Theo Espstein to do interviews, and let Hoyer run and do whatever he wanted? lol.
dayan024
Are the Sox secretly in on the Matt Kemp trade talks.. Would Kemp excite the fan base??
lasttriptotulsa
QUOTE (southside hitman @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 10:55 AM) He put up nice numbers in the minors, but hasn't done much in the majors. I thought he was speedy guy, but apparently not many steals? I seem to remember people talking about him having insane speed when he was in the minors. I could be wrong though. He was also like a .350 hitter across all levels of minor league ball. He's hardly played at the Major League level yet.
dayan024
Jon Heyman @JonHeymanCBS 1m #LAAngels are in in on hector santiago, confirmed. @keithlaw said could be part of trumbo-skaggs w/ eaton going to #chisox

dayan024
Scott Merkin @scottmerkin 26s As I said last night, the White Sox are not in on Juan Uribe. Entertaining guy, great teammate. Doesn't fit their plan right now
The Ultimate Champion
QUOTE (dayan024 @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 11:56 AM) Are the Sox secretly in on the Matt Kemp trade talks.. Would Kemp excite the fan base?? I was thinking that maybe we're still in on Headley, and we're using Santiago to get us a piece for the Padres which would make it possible to pull that off without including Q. Kemp is VERY KW-like though, but so is Crawford unfortunately. Crawford would have to come with a massive amount of cash and little talent while Kemp might cost a bit & still we wouldn't get a load of cash back.
