dayan024
Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal 35s Ken Williams said on Hot Stove that #WhiteSox had "exciting" move brewing. Getting Eaton from #DBacks, as @keithlaw reported, would be that. Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal 1m Per @keithlaw, Eaton would go to #WhiteSox as part of three-team deal with Trumbo going to #DBacks, Skaggs-plus to #Angels. lasttriptotulsa
QUOTE (flavum @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 10:59 AM) Too much smoke for something not to happen. Eaton would be a good fit. If the trade goes off as stated with the Sox sending Santiago to acquire Eaton, there will have to be subsequent moves in the works. Probably a De Aza trade of some sort. iamshack
Ok, I am asking myself why on earth would KW go on this show and mention this? I doubt it was to give us some excitement about a potential deal.

dayan024
Adam Eaton was the dbacks#5 prospect in 2012 Adam Eaton Rank: 5 ETA: 2012 Position: OF Age: 25, DOB: 12/06/1988 Bats: L, Throws: L Height: 5' 8", Weight: 185 Drafted: 2010, 19th (571) - ARI All the Miami of Ohio product has done since becoming a pro is hit. He made it to Double-A in his first full season and hit better than .300 in the playoffs to help Mobile win the Southern League title. He hit .340 overall in his first two seasons, and that didn’t even count his .344 showing in the Arizona Fall League. Then, he upped that in 2012, absolutely scorching Pacific Coast League pitching. He has a plus arm from the outfield and likes to bait runners so he can throw them out. He gives 100 percent effort at all times and could be an outstanding fourth outfielder at the very least. Eaton made his Major League debut on September 4.

fathom
Not a fan of Eaton. I saw quite a few of his at bats last year, and he didn't seem like an impact player. To me, it would seem like Santiago should have more value than him. If it was a trade of someone like Reed for Eaton, I'd be ok with that.
