DBAHO
How much of a confidence booster will this be if Neal can pull out the victory tomorrow night. U would be feelin good if ur 5th starter in only his 5th game could pull out a victory at the Bronx against the Yanks.
Mr. Showtime
Good, I'd rather take my chances with Cotts and perhaps lose. Then waste a good Buehrle effort vs. a tough righty in Mussina. Hopefully Neal will keep the streak alive, and Mark will mow down Detroit.
clujer420
How much of a confidence booster will this be if Neal can pull out the victory tomorrow night. About as much of a confidence shatterer as it will be if he gets shelled.
Chisoxfn
About as much of a confidence shatterer as it will be if he gets shelled. Disagree. I figure if Cotts gets shelled, its basically, you were going up against the best in the biz and you just weren't quite ready. I think Cotts is a big time pitcher and that we'll be surprised, but the Yanks beat up on guys that don't throw strikes, so Cotts will need to bring his A game and the Sox will need to bring theirs. Capn12
Hey, at least we took two out three. Bah!! Cotts will take his shot at winning a big game in his career, and Wright is rested in case he must pitch long relief. Lets keep Buehrle for the next series, don't wanna put him on short rest schedule.
MurcieOne
About as much of a confidence shatterer as it will be if he gets shelled. I believe that their is more to gain than to lose by starting Neal tomorrow. The spankmees have never seen Neal, and are already reeling from this series. Having to tell a rookie pitcher "you just weren't quite ready yet" is the WORST thing you can tell him. I hope he throws strikes tomorrow.
