Donny Lucy's Avocado Farm
Wow. Cool for Youk. Youkilis considered the opportunity to play in Japan a "life experience that was too good to pass up," said Bick. Life experience is right. I'm jealous. Jake
Why not? Japanese folks love baseball as much as we do and he is almost definitely going to make more money for this season.
Balta1701
QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 03:47 AM) Why not? Japanese folks love baseball as much as we do and he is almost definitely going to make more money for this season. The "Why not" is that I think he'd still be a quality MLB contributor if he could stay healthy and I don't think he can stay healthy. I don't think going to Japan will somehow keep him healthy. ptatc
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 02:08 PM) The "Why not" is that I think he'd still be a quality MLB contributor if he could stay healthy and I don't think he can stay healthy. I don't think going to Japan will somehow keep him healthy. If he is about ready to retire the life experience thing makes alot of sense. What more can he really do in MLB and spending a season in Japan would be fun.
