I know I'm 15 years late but, I just started watching The Sopranos. Pretty good stuff. Been meaning to watch it but now I've caught up on everything I wanted to so this is my filler. Should hold my attention for a while.

On another note I really love True Detective. Solid series so far and looks like it's just building to something epic.

You are not the only one, I'm up to the end of season 3 of the Sopranos, great show.

Really looking forward to season 2 of The Americans.

So True Detective question:

Do you guys think that Hart and Cohle are being interviewed because the case is being reopened? Or is one of them a suspect?

Rewatch one of its trailers. Pretty sure the case is being reopened...and both will be helping with it. Trailers kinda spoil that part

I'm just hoping the entire show is not all about this one serial killer they are going to be chasing. I fear it could turn in to The Killing where they lead us in 100 different directions and drag one case on for multiple seasons. I wonder if they could use the same format and just go through a couple different cold cases that are being reopened.

Only 8 episodes, so I'm sure it's one killer. I don't even care about the case. Woody amd Matthew are great as are those characters. Yes, I'm on a first name basis with them.

Oh my god, Workaholics epic again tonight. I always worry each new season that the show will get too stupid and repetitive, but jesus these dudes are hilarious. Adam crying under the desk had me laughing so hard.

When he wiped his tears with the jizz rag I lost it.

True Detective is going American Horror Story route actually. Every season is a different case with different characters in a different city, and perhaps a different time period. I would like to see major movie actors take on the roles every year...

I agree, the story is becoming background to 2 pretty awesome performances, and a intense atmosphere. I want to know who the killer is and what he is about, but I just get sucked into everything that is happening

I hadn't heard that. That will be interesting.

HBO just signed for season 2 also... the creator has an interview somewhere where he talks about where the show can go from here. True Detective is such a vague title that they can do almost anything with it...kidnapping, fraud, drugs.

Really trying to figure out where Shameless has to go from here.

Seems like there's a lack of energy right now. With Steve-Jimmy, Lip, Ian, Fabio/Karen and even Estafania gone, it's become suddenly quite uninteresting.

Frank's a shell of his former self, there's no Monica around to blow through the squirrel fund...seeing Debbie going into any type of decline or descent just doesn't seem fair to her after everything her character's gone through.

From watching the upcoming season scenes, the whole Fiona/Mike thing has about as much romantic tension as Emmy Rossum in Dragonball with her original partner in crime Jimmy-Steve. I think even she has gotten tired of showing her boobs every other episode, haha.

I'm not even quite understanding how a student with Lip's ability can show up at "Chicago Polytechnic" and get a D on a freshman literature paper...but obviously they couldn't send him off to MIT because they needed to keep him closer to home.

That would be the most ideal situation I think. This season it's Woody/Matthew, next season it's Bruce Willis and Jon Lithgow, etc.

Willis definitely needs a show like TD to get back. GI Joe n the last Die Hard were turds Red 2 was meh.

All of my friends absolutely love that show. It's#1 on my Amazon list if I ever find the time.
