Brian, I know you're the only other one watching Parenthood, but good start to the farewell season thus far.

I haven't seen last nights yet but can see where they are going after one episode. I'll add more thoughts after I watch it later. Underrated show. My sister binged on it on Netflix and is caught up.

Ugh, Drew. Also don't need Hank's rebellious daughter to take up time. Still good.

Boardwalk. Dayum.

Was pissed about

the death of Van Alden

, was confused but not that upset about

the death of Chalky

. But holy s*** is Narcisse just so f***ing boring. Terrible, terrible villain and is slowing down an already slow season. I feel like this show is crawling to the bitter end.

Every season has gone this way. A few painfully boring episodes to start out and lay every storyline out on the table. Then they flip a switch and motherf***ers start dying left and right, nobody is safe.

the opening scene of Walking Dead was insane. The director clearly has decided that we are getting a bloodbath now, people and zombies alike

The Walking Dead usually doesn't do disturbing......but that definitely was. Great scene.

Van Alden's was great. Chaotic. It's too bad this is the last season and they did the big time jump. More Van Alden at home would have been entertaining to watch.

Chalky's death I didn't really get. I can understand the redemption angle, but he has no guarantee that Narcisse will keep his word, so why do it that way? Wouldn't Daughter have just as good of a chance to make it without Narcisse around to block her? Now she's just his prisoner again with no one like Chalky to protect her. And I disagree about Narcisse being a bad villain. He was good last season. He couldn't be (and shouldn't have been) the cartoon villain like Rosetti was in the third season.

Also, I wasn't a big fan of the flashbacks in the first few episodes, but now I'm glad they're there. I like seeing how Nucky turned. And the guy playing Nucky as a young-adult has Buscemi down. Unreal how good he is with his mannerisms.

I just want to see if I interpreted the Terminus story correctly.

It seemed as if it started as a sanctuary, but some bad guys showed up, took over, and just started making women concubines and beating the guys. But at some point the original people took it back over and decided that they were the butchers instead of the cattle, and became a cannibal group? Which is why the woman that fought with Carol was so upset and tried to explain that they really werent that bad?

That is correct. They went into more detail about it all on Talking Dead.

Yeah, I'm fine with the Nucky flashbacks, and yes, that actor just complete nails playing a young Buscemi. I had to look him up to see if he was related or not.

Curious how much they'll charge. Would have be around $20 a month for it make sense.

Yeah. I just really can't see myself cutting the cord until sports packages make more sense. I would spend about as much at bars as I would with cable.

The real disruption will be when HGTV goes netflix, amirite?
