Kyyle23
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 7, 2014 -> 02:08 PM) How is it that other QBs are sometimes able to go hundreds of pass attempts without an INT when they have to deal with such things? I know, i know. Nobody else throws interceptions
Kyyle23
QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 7, 2014 -> 02:09 PM) Football IQ. "I think he's not running the right route, better check the other receivers..." It was a timing route, he threw it before Marshall was supposed to curl. He never curled and shields was right there waiting for it. If Marshall curled, he would have shielded the defender, like the play is designed. His pick across the middle to Tramon Williams was awful, no doubt. But the pick to Shields was on marshall

Kyyle23
Jay has warts, i get it. But some people will never get over the fact that he isnt Aaron Rodgers. Newsflash, there is only one. There is worse options out there, and even though the bears settled for the cute fat chick for 3 years, its much better than settling for fat chick one night stands for 20 years And I apologize for continuing that analogy. iamshack
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 7, 2014 -> 10:16 AM) Why exactly? With the defense as bad as it is, Jay is either going to take the Bears to the promise land or he isn't. It goes through him and the offense. And nothing in his time with the Bears has led me to believe he's THAT good. Because these absolutes are just nonsense in sports, especially football, where plenty of worse teams than this one have gone on runs and won super bowls. Things can change so quickly in the NFL. It is impossible for anyone to make an absolute judgment like that after 5 games.

With the talent we have on offense this year, and with a defense that could become better as the season progresses, I think you're nuts to say they couldn't go on a run and win the whole thing. LittleHurt05
QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 7, 2014 -> 03:02 PM) Yeah, that guy is incredible. I've been very slow to jump on the Wilson bandwagon, given the quality of his team's roster and how much less he has to throw than the other top QBs. But everytime I watch him play, I become more and more impressed with him. He's legit and he costs less than a million dollars each of the next two years. Kaep did roast us...but I'm remembering back to the game in 2012 at Soldier Field in December...I think we lost 23-17 in OT after leading the entire game. That was the game where Wilson really showed just how good he could be. Edited October 7, 2014 by iamshack

Not many do. And for those that do, you will typically find that you are talking about a top 3 QB. Yes, QB's from time to time have various streaks but the guys that throw minimal picks are either top 3 or so in the league at the time and typically in similar systems with good protection, etc. Or in rare exceptions they are a game manager and have fewer attempts or some other variable.
