If I told you back in August that the Bears would win 3 of their first 4 road games, including @ San Francisco and @ Atlanta, would you think there is any chance Trestman would get fired in December?

I'm not gonna lie. I was feeling pretty good about the Bears when they beat San Fran.

And now SF gets to sit at home too.

With their classic car rebuilding firefighter fans

I don't think any of us realized just how bad of a head coach Trestman was. I literally think he'll go down in league history as one of the worst head coaches on the planet. He's about as big of a disaster as I've ever seen (especially for someone with his record). I realize Marinelli had his 0-16 year with garbage talent but when you look at the whole story, wow is all I can say about the Trestman era in Chicago.

There's a difference between a bad team, and a dysfunctional team. Trestman has lead this team, and organization, into complete dysfunctionality.

yeah, this team is such a disaster, it is hard to even evaluate what the source of the problem even is. Is it personnel? Is it coaching? Is it management? I have no idea how you come into the situation and evaluate who to keep and who to get rid of.

What does this mean?

We had a former poster that was a big SF fan, went by the name SOXOBAMA. He posted in all caps, got real mad if you dared think SF would lose, and then started spinning stories about how he was this firefighter in San Fran that restored old cars and went to see all of the games with great seats. Well, one of those stories got busted out and then he got a little mad about it.

It was a fun time

Now to see if, amid these reports, the Bears just come out and fire Trestman or if they issue a statement or just ignore the whole thing. My bet is they ignore the whole thing or basically say we will evaluate everything at the end of the season (basically same thing as saying...Trest...He Gawn!)

Nobody thought Cutler would be so awful and that the offense would regress so much. The offense was supposed to be one of the best in the league. It was throwing band-aids on the defense that was supposed to be the problem.

A marginal improvement by the defense with last year's offense and they had a chance. Instead they have scored 30+ points exactly zero times

And zero points at the half 4 different times. Pathetic doesn't begin to describe the season.

Trade for Harbaugh
I know all the reports out there are saying Harbaugh is on the way out but are the 49ers really that stupid to let him go? They were a mess when he got there and quickly made them a Super Bowl contender. They can't be that dumb, can they?

Meatheads on Bears blog calling for Rex Ryan. You know, because he's the son of our last superbowl DC. As Bears fans know, you always want to put the family of any legendary bears coach/player in charge. Always works out.

Pretty sure the Raiders, Bears and Dolphins are going to find out.

Jim Harbaugh is a former Bears QB doe, he wasn't a legendary player but he was decent
