What the f*** was he thinking about Sox are 1, just 1 game up not 5 or 6, Sox could of made a statement and whether Sox win today or not bullpen will be used and Cotts experiment is NOT working at all , Sox are not playing for AA title this is the big time. That's not the mindset of a successful manager. You've gotta go for the kill when you smell blood...Sweeps really lower a team's morale...If we sweep the Yankees, and own them at Comiskey, that might really set the tone for a playoff series against them. :fyou Jerry Manuel!!! Sweeps lower a team's morale, but I don't think the fact is lost on the Yankees that the only game they won involved their ace against our 5th guy who isn't really a major league pitcher.
