"The 2014 season will be my last year playing professional baseball," the Yankees captain said in a 15-paragraph note on the social media site. Personally I've never been a fan of Jeter. Probably would have liked him okay if he didn't play for the Yankees, but being a Yankee caused everything he ever did to be the greatest even if it wasn't.
