Word is that Lovie really likes Donald and will not let him get past the Bucs

I heard some circles say the Bucs are the one team in the top 15 thinking about Manziel still too. If they don't take him, they will take Donald. Unless Mike Evans slips to them.

Jeez. All this hype and wait time and only 32 picks tonight. The NFL is a monster.

Just wait.

"Tonight, picks 17-24. Join us tomorrow for picks 25-32."

"Day 14 of draft month!"

The "move ahead for Manziel" reason is the only thing I could think of teams trading up for. I think Bears would like to move down but I don't think there are that many people that want to move up in such a deep draft.

NFL going to 1 pick a day model soon will be the next headline. ;)

The Houston Chronicle now says the Texans are asking for a first, second, and third-rounder this year plus a first-rounder in 2015 in exchange for Thursday's No. 1 overall pick.

Good luck with that.

Jets have interest in trading up from No. 18. Teams to keep an eye on: Titans at No. 11 and Bears at No. 14. #nyj

What would the net be from trading down four spots? A 3rd round pick?

OK, I decided to answer my own question. I used the point chart from NBC Sports.

Bears 14th pick = 1100 points

Jets 18th pick = 900 points

Jets 80th pick (Rd 3) = 190 points

Jets 209th pick (Rd 6 compensatory) = 7.8 points, total of 1097.8 points

I guess if you go "by the book" that would be the deal.

That seems about right.

Probably with Virginia Tech CB Kyle Fuller or LSU WR Odell Beckham JR in mind. Need to get in front of Steelers.

Compensatory picks cannot be traded. Id do it for #18, a 3rd, and a 7th.

Sounds like a deal Bears need more picks.

Hell yeah I'd trade 14 down to 18.

If Donald is there, i probably don't, although you still might have to consider it given the depth at DT. I think at 18 we will definitely be able to get one of the guys one my list and getting an extra 3rd rounder would be pretty beneficial.

Just FYI, but the pick value chart is pretty dated and I dont think used very much anymore.

And what a haul for Cleveland for moving down 5 spots.

Buffalo got a huge playmaker. Gives me a reason to watch my AFC team Bills.
