caulfield12
So are they really back to looking at Axelrod as a 5th starter, with Surkamp and Rienzo out of camp for now? I'd almost rather see Beck working with Cooper for one year and going through all those struggles than that. Heck, might as well start Boggs or Cleto. From there, you need a long reliever, which would be Petricka IMO. Didn't they already send him out of camp? Guess it also depends if they want to keep both Downs and Veal. Don't quite understand why they don't want to get some youngsters more experience unless Veal's looking more like the 2012 version than last year's shadow of his former self. He has looked good at times. He will go into the season in the rotation and go from there. Edited March 22, 2014 by Y2JImmy0
caulfield12
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 22, 2014 -> 04:26 PM) Why are Hawk and Stone fawning over the Twins right now? Byron Buxton....maybe Hawk also doesn't know Sano's out for the season because he was out golfing and doesn't follow things too closely unless we're actually playing that team and he can hob knob with them around the batting cage. Unless it's on the inner-half, I can't see how he makes contact. Isn't he working on shortening his swing? If so, this may be a symptom of it until he works it out.
