southsider2k5
Thoughts? Daryl Van Schouwen @CST_soxvan 11m Bovada has over/under props on Jose Abreu. Home runs at 28 1/2, RBI at 85 1/2 for 2014 season.
Balta1701
Seems as good of a guess as any.

elrockinMT
It's just a guess and we will be hearing a lot of people's guesses in the next week or so especially from the commentators and sports writers. But, it's always fun when we have positive feedback on a Sox player

witesoxfan
I'd take over for both.
jphat007
I think I'd say under and over.

Eminor3rd
I'll take the under on the homers, over on RBI
flavum
Hopefully he's durable to play enough to get to those numbers, but I'm going to say they'll protect him a little this year, and he'll play about 140-145 games. 24 homers, 78 rbis
Jose Abreu
Over for both. 35/95.
LittleHurt05
If those are the over/under, then Rick Hahn is a genius
ChiliIrishHammock24
I think my prediction a while back was 28/106, making the assumption that he would be a great hitter w/RISP.
danman31
Under/under. Expecting some adjustment time, plus we've seen the Cubans don't like April in Chicago. Although would anyone here be disappointed with 25/80? The RBI projection isn't that high relative to the homers, but with this lineup that's probably fair. ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (danman31 @ Mar 26, 2014 -> 12:00 AM) Under/under. The RBI projection isn't that high relative to the homers, but with this lineup that's probably fair. I would be perfectly happy with 25/80, as long as it's .275+. That right there probably gets him a ROY award, unless Tanaka debuts just as well. 25/80/.275 would be nearly identical to what Prince Fielder did last year, but if, unlike Prince, Abreu can be just an average 1B, that type of season should net him a 3+ WAR, which would have put him #1 among AL rookies last year. TheTruth05
I hope over, and only if the adjustment period isn't too long or draining on him but I can't help but think as mature a hitter he is he won't hit a couple stumps throughout the season so if money was involved i'd go under....although barely. 23/
