From now on, $20 gets you a seat in section 154, a t-shirt, and a Chris Sale "K" sign on days that he pitches. Cool promotion. Section 154 is now being called "The K-Zone".

I am a little confused on this. So are they not going to sell any tickets in section 154 until they know Sale will pitch?? They can't possibly predict what day he is going to pitch in August. What if someone buys tickets in advance for that section for more then $20 and then Sale happens to pitch!? What is the system!!!?!?!

More OT: you all laughed when I suggested that Hahn and Kenny probably have at one point looked at this forum... well, last week in a Twitter interview, the Houston Rockets GM said that he does look at fan forums to gain information/insight. It's possible, people.

Who laughed? People with the Sox most definitely look at this site, some are registered users. Perhaps not Hahn or Kenny directly, but others.

Was in Seattle in 2012 when The King pitched, they did something similar and it was cool. I'm sure the logistics of selling based on Sale's day of pitching can be dealt with (if you pre-bought you're in, any unsold prior to a certain period get the deal could work).

I just know it wasn't a robust crowd when I went to the Mariners game but that section was packed.

K-zone sounds pretty cool, but why do I feel like I will try and buy seats there for when Sale pitches and fail every time.

Fail as in you will walk up to the ticket booth and ask for that section and it will be sold out... or fail as in you will buy tickets thinking you are in the K-Zone, but end up in the next section with a frown face.

Fail is in I will buy tickets for a certain day and Sale will have his start moved up or a rain delay could push his start back a day. Maybe another pitcher will get hurt and the rotation will get messed up.

The sox social lounge is the pickup point for the signs/shirts. so they will have the 200 or so ready on game day.

I'm in the first row of the section every weekend game except the few tickets I sell on here or can't make. You pick up your shirt and sign at the white sox social lounge the day of the game. I love the view where I am then again I'm right off the field. Cool thing added to my ticket plan
