What if Dunn has a career year hoping to get a new hefty contract somewhere?

Maybe our new hitting coach is great. We're actually hitting lousy pitchers this year the way they deserve to be hit.

Not going to happen Greg, will hit in the low .200 with plenty of HR, Walks and Ks.

If Dunn has a career year, he's a borderline MVP.

The first 3 games havent "proven" anything to me other than we look like we have more energy and confidence. Baseball is not a sprint.

Garcia's never been known for his range, this really isn't anything new.

I hope it would read more like "Ok, so can we get back to this De Aza trade again? Let's work something out"

With ADA winning the LF position over Viciedo, it seems to me like he could be more in the plans of the organization going forward than Viciedo? On a team that desperately needs lefty hitters, I have no problem with him being in LF the next few years. I said this in ST, but he might be the 3rd best hitter on this roster.

In RF?? No way, disagree.

Range is more important than the fielder's arm in every outfield position. I'd rather have 3 Brett Gardners than 3 Alfonso Sorianos in my outfield.

Soriano is your example the arm? I'd take Jermaine Dye over Soriano every day.

Soriano at least had a great arm. He had a few SABR seasons defensively that were outstanding defensively, even though he often looked like he was a Pony Leaguer out there, due to his arm.

Soriano has/had one of the best arms in baseball. He's regularly tops in OFers in assists (He's #4 among active players right now). UZR and DRS also liked his arm (especially when he first started playing the OF).
