Far too often High School hitters get signed right out of the gate, and struggle using wood bats, and are never successful at a professional level. But, the same thing goes for College hitters, because they are still using aluminum. The NCAA and the governing bodies for HS teams are considering going to wooden bats to lessen the number of injuries to, primarily, the pitchers. Everybody knows why this is the case.
