BigHurt3515
Belisario now regulated to 5th/6th inning duties? lol
flavum
Ventura better be prepared to admit they blew it on that Murphy homer/foul ball.
Soxfest
QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 12, 2014 -> 02:50 PM) Ventura better be prepared to admit they blew it on that Murphy homer/foul ball. He will have some lame ass excuse.
maggsmaggs
Seeing a lot of deadweight on this club: Paulino, Garcia, half of the bullpen. At least Axelrod throws strikes, much rather see his 5.00 ERA than Paulino's walk-a-thon.
Feeky Magee
With Leury Garcia's skillset, you really have to be a defensive whiz.

Aren't the umps supposed to call for a review on any homer that's close?
caulfield12
Belisario warming. It's not a good thing when your O.D. 8th inning set-up guy is the next man in...the fifth inning. Of a game you're losing. Edited April 12, 2014 by caulfield12

flavum
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 12, 2014 -> 02:51 PM) Aren't the umps supposed to call for a review on any homer that's close? I don't know about that. Obviously the first base ump saw it wrong. Jordan Danks didn't do anything. The fans, as far as I could tell, didn't yell. Next thing you know, Paulino was delivering a pitch, and it was a moot point.
caulfield12
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 12, 2014 -> 01:51 PM) Nieto Belisario/Downs...maybe Veal. Probably Lindstrom by mid-season as closer. Edited April 12, 2014 by caulfield12
maggsmaggs
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 12, 2014 -> 02:51 PM) Nieto True, but ain't no way he is going down. At least Flowers is playing well, so you can hide Nieto more than probably thought at the beginning of the year. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 12, 2014 -> 02:53 PM) There's no way they go to Axelrod over Rienzo or Surkamp. I don't care who it is, I can't stand seeing Paulino's terrible command every outing.
