Wise Master Buehrle
Uhhh, the Yankees would already have like, 4 or 5 runs, witht he way he pitched that first inning.

Wise Master Buehrle
Wow...you folks are really grasping for excuses now. Get over it Well it's true. They would have gotten just as many if not more runs that first inning.

Not you, Yahtzee...talking about all the boo-hooing about Cotts starting yesterday. A win vs the Yanks and a win vs the Tigers all count the same in total wins. Cry me a river... Capn12
So what does it matter who pitches? The move was made by JM with the best of intentions in mind. The way he handled it was bad, but it was for the right reasons.

The way he handled it was bad, but it was for the right reasons. Because no matter the intentions it f***ed up our winnings ways and theres NOTHING you can say to oppose that. This man gets paid to produce and he has the f***ing talent.
Capn12
Holy s***...if you think that the main reason the team wins is "karma", then I have lost all respect for athletes. I think talent overcomes 'karma' everytime in my book. As for JM, yeah he has the talent to manage...uh, how is HE supposed to produce? Shall he carry the bats out for the guys to the batters box, so they dont have to? Should he throw the warmup pitches for the pitcher every inning? Um, the producing is up to the guys ON the field, not IN the dugout. PERIOD

Capn12
JM doesnt f***ING produce anything, except a lineup card. And its been the same pretty much everynight, which was everyones gripe for so long. He held Buehrle back for rests sakes, good or bad. JM remembers how s***ty the pitching staff was come playoff time in 2000, and he wants to avoid that situation if at all possible. Dude, JM has nothing to do with what happens every AB, or every pitch. I've grown quite weary of people thinking that everything that is wrong with this team is his fault. I've been against JM for quite a while, but I won't PISS and MOAN about every decision he makes, like others on these boards. BTW, real good comeback argument there

Capn12
I'm done....great arguments . Managers are not the scapegoats that you all make them out to be. Talent must produce, period. I don't care if Connie Mack is on the bench

IlliniBob72
GOd that was a moronic post. Ummmmmmmm by his decisions? Jesus. Is that your deal? Whenever anyone disagrees with you you call them moronic or some other ingenius name? Dude, you may want to look at the players just a little bit, huh? Now it's Manual's fault that MB gave up 5 runs in the first 2 innings? I am sure it's also his fault that Konerko isn't hitting his weight. Or MB lost 10 of his first 12 outings. Or Valentin is hitting in the .230's. Or the second baseman for the first half of the season had rocks in his head. Or his new closer couldn't strike you out. I'm sure next you'll argue that JM is also responsible for goofs running on the field or maybe even unrest in the Middle East. Oh, wait, I forgot to add that stupid . There, that's better.
