Jose Abreu
Dan Hayes @DanHayesCSN 43s Chris Sale heads out to the bullpen for today's session. Robin Ventura is making his way out there. #WhiteSox
witesoxfan
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 12, 2014 -> 08:23 PM) Chris Sale's nickname is the Condor? Say what? http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/s/salech01.shtml Yes, I believe this is a SSS thing. From the side during his motion, with his arms out to his side, he looks like a condor. http://www.southsidesox.com/2014/2/19/5427...condor-nickname

fathom
Hopefully it was planned to be this short, as that doesn't seem like a full bullpen session. Dan Hayes @DanHayesCSN 10m Chris Sale's bullpen session lasted around 20 pitches. He's headed back in. Should have word on him and closer from Ventura in an hour. Soxfest
QUOTE (fathom @ May 20, 2014 -> 04:04 PM) Hopefully it was planned to be this short, as that doesn't seem like a full bullpen session. Dan Hayes @DanHayesCSN 10m Chris Sale's bullpen session lasted around 20 pitches. He's headed back in. Should have word on him and closer from Ventura in an hour. White Sox manager Robin Ventura on Tuesday refused to name a set closer while Matt Lindstrom (ankle) was on the disabled list. Ventura mentioned that he has a few options among guys that have pitched well lately. Ronald Belisario would certainly qualify, as he hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 17 1/3 innings and boasts 13/1 K/BB ratio over that time. Daniel Webb and Jacob Petricka, who earned the save Monday after Lindstrom exited, could also be in the mix. Per Rotoworld.
Dick Allen
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 20, 2014 -> 05:25 PM) This timetable seems very bizarre. He was sore after his rehab start which Stone said is very normal when you haven't pitched in a while. They probably want to see how he feels after this before committing .
