The Sox seem to be chasing after more IF and C than anything else. I think they are pretty happy with where they are in the OF unless a real game changer pops up.

DeAza could be replaced. HE hit those 2 hr in the first game and has went downhill and now has leveled off below the Mendoza line.

Dayan Viciedo

Avisail Garcia

With other possible guys down the line in the minors.

It appears there's a very important deadline for him buried in there, from that article:

If not approved before July 2nd, his signing bonus will count against a team’s allotted bonus pool in the 2014-2015 international free agency signing period, limiting the amount that teams may be willing to spend

The only ones out there are Frederich Cepeda (he's 34 and profiles as more of a 1B/DH going forward, playing in Japan right now) and Despaigne in terms of impact bats.

At Cepeda's age, he's clearly going to be on the downside, but he wouldn't be a bad sign at all if they had to go platoon DH next year.

Reading the article, the guy seems to be a 4th OF ceiling. Nothing but his speed is talked about with any real depth.

can he throw to second base on the fly?

He is from my hometown team. He has been out for a while, but I guess he does not have the connections to get his paperwork as fast as Chapman and Puig. Why is that? Maybe because he is not as talented as the other two. He is still signable though.
