fathom
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 24, 2014 -> 06:21 PM) Not even close. I am not a fan of Gordon anymore but this doomsday stuff is silly +1 Sale's health, Avi being out, finding a 5th starter have a significantly greater impact than Beckham over Semien. johndyce
QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Apr 24, 2014 -> 06:20 PM) Nothing new with Beckham, get him to chase a breaking ball and then just blow him away with the fastball, he can't compete with it. You guys remember this time last year PK was putting up more MVP numbers? Man it would be nice to have some of that back this year. A fully functional PK and this is a LOADED lineup. ChiSox_Sonix
Beckham looks pretty bad so far. Probably would have been smarter to play Garcia in place of Gillaspie. He had a couple hits last night and has been watching major league pitching for a month

He had a couple hits last night and has been watching major league pitching for a month I thought he would sit today and start at home vs TB. Man it would be nice to have some of that back this year. A fully functional PK and this is a LOADED lineup. This time last year Paul Konerko was hitting just over .230 with a sub-.700 OPS. You're thinking of 2012. Paul Konerko was next to useless in 2013.

caulfield12
Tigers' announcers expresseding skepticism about Rienzo's arsenal. And they've seen him twice, both times he pitched pretty well against DET, this year and last. Also expressing wonderment why the White Sox aren't drawing well with the excitement surrounding Eaton, Garcia, Abreu, etc. Flowers with two hits again already, although one was a doink. Chiding White Sox "pr" people for not promoting White Sox as having top three hitters in the AL with Flowers (not quite eligible), Viciedo and Ramirez. BigHurt3515
QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 24, 2014 -> 01:29 PM) Jordan's step before his swing is too long. He has too much going on at the plate. Too much movement, long swing, uppercut swing most of the time.. He needs to just keep it simple up there
