I'm surprised there's any amount of debate about Beckham. He can't hit. He's worn out his welcome. And there's plenty in the pipeline now to replace him. So he'll play---and he'll suck. And then he'll be gone after this year.

Don't want to be stuck watching him all year

Q having 2 out trouble today

Yeah, the 2-out runs are frustrating, but if you tell me that a pitcher starting at Detroit is going to get through 6 innings with 3 runs, 7 hits, and no walks, you'd take that 11 times out of 10.

Over/under on Beckham having a BA over .240 with the White Sox in 2014?

I'll wager any amount on the under. Care to take that bet?

You just don't get over oblique strains easily. Hawk is right about that one thing. And a 100% healthy Beckham wasn't that good in the first place offensively.

And your over-the-top smart aleckness posting this season (especially about Don Cooper) is below you and intellectually lazy.

Sure, whatever you want to bet is fine. But why .240, you posted earlier he would be hitting .215. A little nervous?

It's Brian Anderson/Aaron Rowand all over again.

Part III.

Another Flowers hit, amazing.

.600+ average BABIP.

I hope not either, but I'm not holding my breath on teams wanting him. Maybe they give him every opportunity to make himself tradeable before August 1, and if he doesn't get traded, he's the extra infielder the rest of the season, and they non-tender him (if it comes to that).

So we'll trade, I won't EVER mention Puig again if Beckham hits over .240 in a White Sox uniform in 2014.

You have to give up the Cooper fascination until Opening Day, 2015.

He has to miss 10 games not days right?

His turn only comes up one time in the next 17 games due to conveniently-scheduled off days, so it's not a major hit to the Yankees

There are several other guys currently on this roster that had to go as well:

Dunn, Viciedo, Flowers, De Aza, Ramirez, just to name a few.
