Ya where is his fastball today?

Yay for 3 inning outings! But seriously, what is going on with the velocity for the Sox pitchers? Almost across the board (besides Sale), it's down from last year.

Webb to be the closer talk should die down now another walk scores.

He's still our best reliever. This is really his first bad outing. Compare that to our other key relievers who have had, well, you know. I'll take Webb as closer over the other options any day.

So he is the tallest midget in the room.................congrats. Sox have no closer on this current roster.

He isn't exactly showing he is ready for high stakes work right now...

Agreed, but I do wonder if he'd pick up 2-3 mph of velocity in a closing situation? If not, you have to wonder if he's injured. Fastball is way down today.
