cabiness42
If you don't swing at Alburquque's crap, he's not gonna blow you away with his fastball the umpire will just call it a strike anyway.

Dunn up with two on and a low and inside slider coming in...White Sox have a good chance at the lead. 2 different strike zones today ............Tigers very generous ........Sox Ball Edited April 24, 2014 by Soxfest
2nd_city_saint787
QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 24, 2014 -> 02:18 PM) Wait, we want Beckham to go away and we want Semien to go away. Who plays 2B? My post was green.
greg775
QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 24, 2014 -> 07:18 PM) Wait, we want Beckham to go away and we want Semien to go away. Who plays 2B? That was a s***ty at bat for sure but I'd rather see a full year of Semien and see what he can do. Maybe he'll drop to .150 maybe he'll hit .300. Nobody knows. Beckham, however, we know. He's not going to magicially become good at his age.

caulfield12
Ventura getting after Iasoggna between innings. By the way, AlAl was also balking with that leg break, but, oh, well. Anything to keep the Tigers with a winning record. Edited April 24, 2014 by caulfield12

caulfield12
That gun has to be off 2-3 MPH. 95-96 for Cleto instead of customary 97-99.

Knowing you as a big Dunn hater, what are thoughts on his 30 Ks in under 100 ABs? At what point does it become clear he needs more time in the minors? caulfield12
There's your typical Ramirez error after all the great plays he makes. Rushed it a bit...maybe wasn't sure of the speed of the runner before the ball was hit. SINGLE? WHAT THE HE DOUBLE L? ORDINARY EFFORT? REALLY? At what point does it become clear he needs more time in the minors? The 30 Ks suck obviously. I'm just so down on Beckham that I want to believe it's Semien time. I've never despised Beckham like I do Dunn (as a player not a person) but Beckham could shut me and a lot of fans up if he starts excelling. ChiliIrishHammock24
Aaaaaand, they now have a runner on scoring position due to our defense. My god, if this defense just made the routine plays, we would be winning 2-1 right now. Then again, if they made the routine plays, it would be 1-1 right now.
