Ugh, why are you pitching to Cabrera with an open base? Quintana struggling to get that 3rd out.

He slapped a good pitch low and away right to where the 2B should have been playing. Silly to blame that run on choosing to not walk a guy in the 3rd inning.

Nice AB by jose making the adjustment low and away but got blown away with a 94mph heater down the middle.

Well, that can't be right. Unless it doesn't account for pitches thrown OUT of that zone, because Abreu's 2nd HR in Colorado was on a pitch up and away that he blasted over the RCF wall.

It's Miguel Cabrera...I wouldn't advocate pitching around anyone else besides him in the 3rd inning, even Trout. In that situation, he's just such a tough out.

If you can't pitch to him in the 3rd inning of a 1-1 game with 2 outs and a 1-1 count then you're pretty much never going to feel comfortable pitching to him.

If he was walked and the next batter hit a HR this site would have (rightfully) roasted Ventura

The chart indicates he's hitting .500 up and away.

Well I want to roast Robin for that stupid shift against Cabrera. He is too good of a hitter to give him that big of a hole to hit the ball
