BigEdWalsh
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 27, 2014 -> 02:55 PM) Chicago White Sox @whitesox 2m .@Scotty_Carroll goes 7.1 IP, the longest by a #WhiteSox starter in his debut since Gerry Janeski on 4/10/1970 vs. Milwaukee (also 7.1 IP). As President of The Scott Carroll Fan Club, I approve.
South Side Fireworks Man
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 27, 2014 -> 03:58 PM) Abreu at bats are must see tv. I hope we don't see any more today.
Bigsoxhurt35
QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 27, 2014 -> 03:56 PM) Those were good wins, but that walk off game was a walkfest that took 4 hours. Because of Carroll, today is my favorite so far. Agree but it was that much more satisfying to win a game we had no business being in. Abreu's grand slam was just so great

greg775
Can Caroll keep it up? What an effort. Abreu having 31 RBI is just sick. His home runs are reminiscent of the steroid era. Can he keep this up? He is amazing. That blast to left was a towering homer.
glangon
That was a heck of a pitching performance against a good Rays line up. Zobrist, Longoria and Myers were made to look silly by Carroll. I hope he keeps getting his chance, he's pitched better than Paulino, EJ and the bullpen so far. Robin said it well last night, he has shown the rest of the pitching staff what happens when you throw strikes. Abreu - wow - 10 homers, 31 RBI, leads the majors in both. All we're missing is some topless fellows with Abreu strewn across their chests.....
