Donny Lucy's Avocado Farm
This is exactly what the bullpen needed. Who'da thunk it... a 29 year old making his major league debut. Such is the Sox '14 season! Go Sox!
WHarris1
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 27, 2014 -> 02:11 PM) Carroll reminds me of a right handed Buehrle, but without the pitching the second he receives the ball thing. Jose, please stick to bashing homers.
flavum
QUOTE (beautox @ Apr 27, 2014 -> 03:11 PM) 87 pitches for Carroll, do you bring him out for the 8th? Two words: f*** yes
South Side Fireworks Man
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 27, 2014 -> 03:11 PM) Yes he was just giving him a nice slide tap. OK. It looked like the ump didn't call him out 'til after Gordon tagged him.

caulfield12
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 27, 2014 -> 02:03 PM) are you watching this game? Spring Training must have been one giant kegger for them. Might have something to do with the gale-force winds...although Viciedo and DeAza don't have excuses for their plays this inning.

Dick Allen
QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Apr 27, 2014 -> 03:08 PM) Keep trolling. There's a huge difference between that fluke defensive inning by the Rays and our defense the past two seasons. Just showing how silly it is to blame a manager for sloppy play. I guess on here the exception would be Robin.

QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Apr 27, 2014 -> 03:11 PM) Jose, please stick to bashing homers. What's so wrong about that? He's obviously not as good, but they have a similar pitching style. caulfield12
Tyler 3 for 3 on K's today. Price has been low 90's all game today, consistently 90-91, not much faster than Carroll. Doesn't have that electric stuff so far this season...he has given up a lot of hits, more than IP, very unusual for him. Eaton the softest 3/4 in the history of MLB. Back up to .286.
