Jordan4life_2003
The 8 losses to the Tigers. How in the hell could u lose 8 times to a team that's only won 33 gms? This White Sox team makes it tough to be a fan most of the time :fyou

greg775
You are right. It is perplexing. At least we know if dont win the division we know JM is gone. I mean I don't hate the guy but folks we should win this division. That said ... wow a rare bad outing by Mark B. He got rocked so maybe Det. deserves credit. CWSOX45
The Tigers have confidence when they play against us. Confidence can do wonders for a young team. Just look at the Royals. For some reason the Tigers BELIEVE they can beat us any time they want to. Hell they did sweep us. We need to win these next two games. Garland and Loaiza need to help us out. greg775
I definitely would rather win than JM get fired. I want to win this thing, but we ain't favorites, that's for sure. Not with our scheduled compared to KC and Minn and our giving away games. We still can win 4 of 6 on this trip and must.
YASNY
Buehrle's performance in Detroit kinda made the whole New York fiasco irrelevent.
clujer420
Over 20% of the Tigers' wins have come against the Sox. That is pathetic, both for them and for us.

This White Sox team makes it tough to be a fan most of the time :fyou You definitely would have to look at that, the road trip from Tampa to Detroit then to Cleveland which I believe they were 3-7, and the Texas, Anahiem debacle where they went 1-6. I just don't understand the huge descrepancy between home and road performance. You' d have to expect a few more wins coming at home, but the difference the Sox have may be one of the biggest in history.
JUGGERNAUT
Stop looking at the numbers & look at the facts. How many of the SOX 71 wins are due to the long ball? How many of the SOX 71 wins are at the expense of RH's? How many of the SOX 71 wins are in pitcher's ball parks? We can't win in DET for the same reason we can't win in SEA. These are pitcher's parks that negate the long ball. Without Frank's homer in Comerica (a big surprise to everyone) the SOX score a paltry 2 runs. They can only win in Comerica if they out-pitch the Tigers. This staff has never been able to out-pitch the opposition when it was a MUST key to the game. That's why I'm voting on the M's to miss the post-season. The SOX can win in NY, BOS, & with a Mulder-less OAK in OAK. It's a team built for the post-season if the DET's & CLE's don't keep us from getting there.
whitesox247
Have they swept any team this season except us?
