Just send Beckham to Toronto for Kyle Drabek or somebody like that, and just move on.

I'd be on board with that. He's struggled at AAA this year too, but maybe his future is in the bullpen.

The worst hitter on the team is hitting second...makes a lot of sense.

Sans 2 good games Semien hasn't been any better. I know I'm cherry picking again, but he went 8 for 11 in 2 games this year, the other 26 games he's batting .170 with 37 strike outs.

That .170 is better than whatever Gordon's hitting.

It doesn't have to be Semien vs. Gordon for the 2 spot. You can easily just put Alexei there, ya know, since he's probably the team's second best hitter right now.

I bet he gets at least $15M a year, after he rejects the Tigers qualifying offer.

For what, 2 years? That's a contract you might be able to stomach, but even that's an overpay. That's pretty much assuming V-Mart's a 3 win player. He's not.

I can't see the Tigers making a QO, especially with the Scherzer situation outstanding.

I think $10 million tops, for one year, and an option year.

2/$30+, maybe 3/$45+

Not a chance...............a 36 year old not getting a 3 million dollar raise from 12 to 15 million.

Hopefully the Sox find a left-handed hitting LF for next year and move Viciedo to DH. I'm not a fan of going after VMart to DH this offseason, as that seems like too much of a win-now move.

I think this is the much better solution. Viciedo, if what we've seen so far this year is real, is a much better option at DH than V-Mart.

He was less than a 1-win player last year, he'll probably be around the same this year. 3/$45m would be an insane overpay.

.340 wOBA at DH doesn't really get you much these days.
