fathom
Outside of Abreu, this is basically the same offense the Sox had the last two months of last season.
flavum
Sox were 8-5 in the division. Now...8-10. That Verlander game was the worst. And this one. And yesterday's.

Boy we are starting to stink. Here's a trade I thought of today: Keppinger or Beckham, either one, for Brandon McCarthy. Coop can fix McCarthy. caulfield12
QUOTE (greg775 @ May 3, 2014 -> 09:24 PM) To get rid of 0-5 McCarthy. Sale had a losing record last year, right? Sometimes, the team has something to do with a pitcher's mark, unless you believe Danny Wright and James Baldwin were really good pitchers when they compiled big win totals a decade ago over a couple of anomalous seasons. And yesterday's. taking all things into consideration, the game, even thou we lost wasn't bad. the pitching did an decent job. except for no offense I do see something good, with ref to the pitching. just my take. Yep, Carroll was fine, and the bullpen has been excellent over the last couple weeks. Just a frustrating offensive game. Unfortunately, Flowers, Viciedo, and Alexei have only one way to go...so without Eaton there to get on base, it's going to be a rough stretch unless Abreu and Dunn completely carry the team.
