Soxfest
Sox just cannot score a guy 1 out from 3rd. Sox are 30% under league average. Edited May 6, 2014 by Soxfest

caulfield12
What happened? MLB.com is frozen/stuck/hung up. I'm guessing we found a new and creative way not to score again? Should be 3-0. Baseball God ANGRY! Will bring down wrath/vengeance on White Sox for sloppy play.

oldsox
Why do players insist on sliding head first? False hustle, stupidity, bad breeding, ineffective coaching? I just don't understand. The really, really great baserunners of yesteryear -- Wills, Brock, Cobb, Robinson, Dimaggio, Aparicio, Minoso, Sherm Lollar -- all slid feet first. Then we got Pete Rose, who was pretty good, and he changed it all. Ricky Henderson was pretty good head first, but the rest of them need their heads examined. caulfield12
QUOTE (pettie4sox @ May 5, 2014 -> 07:20 PM) You can't be serious... Clamoring for Danks the way he's going....we might as well have Mitchell, G.Hernandez, Sierra or Tekotte out there. It wouldn't make much of a difference. Semien running on contact play out at home on DeAza's tap to the pitcher. Then De Aza attempts steal, catcher double clutches, DeAza beats throw but is tagged out because he did not extend his arms on the headfirst slide.
