witesoxfan
I'm one of the biggest Semien fans on the board, but him getting sent down would qualify as a non-issue in my mind. It's not like he's dying. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 7, 2014 -> 04:44 PM) His option was exercised in March. He can be sent up and down an unlimited number of times during this season. I understand your point, but there is a limit because of stipulations following an option down (I believe you are required to be down for like 5-10 days) plus the number of days in the season is finite, so the most he could be sent down and brought back, even without the time required to spend, is only like 180 times. southsider2k5
That means Leury Garcia better start packing his bags. Scot Gregor @scotgregor 2m Gillaspie back off DL, Jordan Danks back to AAA Charlotte. Marcus Semien stays on 25-man roster. RV said he's earned it and will get ABs
glangon
TBF, Semien has been clutch in the late innings. His timely hits reminded me of Joe Crede in 2005. If he can keep that up, then the pressure will be on Beckham to produce.
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 7, 2014 -> 08:57 AM) Perspective is amazing. There is absolutely no one on here who would have even thought that coming into the season. Ahem .
