chw42
McHugh's been pretty legit thus far. At least we won't have to go up against Keuchel this series.
GGajewski18
10 consecutive games and 13 of the next 16 games all against teams not in the playoffs last year. Hopefully Sox can capitalize on this.

Balta1701
QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 16, 2014 -> 04:49 PM) Abreu doesn't want to sit. The man gets what he wants. This is one time Robin should be a manager and make the right decision as a manager.

witesoxfan
I understand that Robin is kind of a player's manager and he probably puts too much in his player's hands, but at the same time, you have to assume that Abreu is at least feeling a little better or he wouldn't be playing. Plus, he's going to be off the ankle most of the game anyways. I doubt he's going to push it.
BigHurt3515
I think Abreu is feeling better and that 24+ hours off helped him a lot. I am sure he gets treatment before and after games.. He seems fine so let him play
chitownsportsfan
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 16, 2014 -> 05:06 PM) I can agree with this. I also would respect a manager who is willing to tell him no. Yea I'm a little confused. Robin tells the media he's going to get a day off then he doesn't get a day off. I don't care either way but you can't say something publicly then not do it, that's just bad for everyone. Either keep it in the clubhouse or do what you say you're going to do. As for Jose, he's the man, that simple.
