BigHurt3515
Paulino lets up 2 hits, 2 walks and 3 ER's in the first inning... Why is this guy still around?
BigHurt3515
QUOTE (raBBit @ May 18, 2014 -> 12:59 PM) Also found a way to make an error. What an abortion of signing that one has turned out to be. And now a home run to lead off the 2nd

Rowand44
Could be nerves for Danish, who knows. Not going to freak out until a few more starts.
TomPickle
Glad to see Danish struggle a bit. I think he'll develop a lot more adjusting to A+ than dominating in A.
fathom
Davidson strikes out bunting...ha Trayce 0-2 with 2K....hard to consider him a prospect now, as he's having a horrible season. Edited May 18, 2014 by fathom
fathom
Tim Anderson with a nice weekend (besides the errors). Hawkins putting up some very good numbers this year, as his doubles/walk total continues to climb.
BigHurt3515
Unfortunate Danish got hit around but hopefully this teaches him he isn't invincible and needs to work on things to succeed
danman31
QUOTE (fathom @ May 18, 2014 -> 02:47 PM) Trayce 0-2 with 2K....hard to consider him a prospect now, as he's having a horrible season. He had a solid April and he's slumping in May. Horrible season is a bit harsh. As for Danish, he's probably going to suffer a bit in Winston-Salem because that defense is awful and he's a groundball pitcher.

Right up there with Mitch Boggs, although Paulino is a bit more expensive.

Sox still have him # 6 rated prospect in their updated list.

BigHurt3515
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 18, 2014 -> 06:14 PM) He is A ball. I doubt he is going around thinking he is going to glide by with no work. You must not know the way of thinking of teenagers lol.. He has been pretty much unhittable all his life and is only 19, he doesn't know anything but success.. Obviously I don't know him personally so I could be wrong but when you are that young and have that much success you probably think you are invincible
ChiliIrishHammock24
I am surprised at the amount of people who are saying they think it's a good thing for Danish to get smacked around. I don't know about you, but I'd rather see him dominate at every level, forever. I think of all the places to struggle, A+ ball is a suitable place for it, but I was certainly hoping for success today over failure. Jake
I have no feeling about Danish's outing. It's just a sorta bad day, but not really that bad of a day. It happens. It's neither good nor bad.

In which he had a 9.0 K/9, 1.8 BB/9 and 8 GO/2 FO Maddness. If he keeps putting up numbers like that he will be very successful.
