South Side Fireworks Man
On another note, the interaction between Alexei and Eaton after the play at 1B puts to rest any speculation that there is a problem between them.

Stone pretty much has the same view as we do, no? Those guys are looking on the big screen at center field, and have to make a decision wether they challenge or not. It wasn't so easy to see after one quick replay from the first base dugout angle because you couldn't tell if his hand touched the bag. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ May 19, 2014 -> 09:01 PM) One would hope Alexei knew if he touched it or not and that he would tell his coaches/manager the truth. caulfield12
That's probably the end of Flowers being a .300 hitter this season. FWIW, Zach Putnam continues to be one of Hahn's most overlooked signings. Edited May 20, 2014 by caulfield12
Jose Abreu
QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ May 19, 2014 -> 09:17 PM) How highly is he rated? Is he supposed to be major league ready or is he a longer term prospect? Carbonell is a 6’3″, 220-pound switch-hitter with four years of pro experience in Cuba. He's known for his speed and power and is considered by some to be a five-tool player. That's all I've got on him. You tell me.
